Sherwood Walker
Supervising Accountant

Mr. Walker is responsible for ASI Cash Management and Other Business Services.

He supervises banking relationships, electronic payments and record keeping for our clients.

Mr. Walker holds a masters degree from Howard University in the District of Columbia and a bachelors degree from Bowie State University in Maryland. His areas of expertise are automated accounting systems and banking.

Mr. Walker has over 15 years in Accounting for federal and private agencies, in addition to ASI. He brings to our Cash Management Services the depth of knowledge needed to ensure clients are able to support their lines of credit requests, respond to reporting services such as Dun and Bradstreet, and prepare documents for CPA audits.

Mr. Walker supervises the Accounting staff responsible for daily processing of direct payments for ASI contracts with federal agencies and private organizations.

ASI Cash Management Services receives information from Payroll and Payments in order to manage our clients' routine EFT and ACH banking and cash flow protections.

ASI Cash Management Services prepares monthly cash management reports for our clients to update their spending plans.

ASI specializes in electronic payments and record keeping for our clients. We respond on our clients’ behalf to requests for information from our clients’ bank and credit rating services.

ASI Cash Management conducts customized training in using EFT, ACH and debit card transactions for such diverse clients as foster parents and child care providers.

In 2008, ASI Cash Management handled $50 million for our clients.
